After visiting the Lions, Tigers and Bears sanctuary in Alpine, California, I felt inspired to paint a portrait of Crystal, a beautiful white tiger who melted my heart with her calmness and elegance. Sadly, white tigers face various health issues caused by inbreeding for profit and exploitation, including blindness. As someone who also struggles with blindness, Crystal's story resonated with me and I felt compelled to create something special for her and the sanctuary that gave her a better life.
