When people ask me why I painted a scar over the lion’s eye, I tell them it’s a symbol of resilience and strength.
**Unblurred Warrior**
If you look closely into my eyes, you may see the scars from the surgeries and regular eye treatments. I have Retinitis Pigmentosa, a rare eye disease that causes blindness and currently has no cure. This lion painting is a reminder that despite my long and painful battle with blindness, I am still standing strong like a lion because every scar has made me who I am.
I invite you to join me and the Foundation Fighting Blindness as we fight to end blindness. You can do so by joining my walking team (Team Unblurred) at the San Diego VisionWalk on October 13th and/or by making a purchase from my website, unblurredcollection.com. Proceeds from my sales are donated to help this cause.

Team Unblurred will have special team shirts with the image of this lion painting. Let me know if you have any questions about joining the team or if you are interested in being a sponsor for this event.
