As many of you may have seen from my posts, I’m excited to share that I was nominated for the San Diego Celebrating Women 2024 Awards in the Art and Design category. Tomorrow is the last day to cast your vote!
When Norma Diaz, the CEO of my employer, Community Health Group, learned about this, she kindly offered to share the news with the entire staff, encouraging them to support me by voting. I immediately said yes!
Whether I win or not, I’m grateful to be fulfilling my mission of spreading blindness awareness through my art. The support I’ve received from my colleagues, family, and the community means everything to me.
Thank you again to everyone who has voted, and if you haven’t, there’s still time to support the cause—which reminds me, I need to vote myself! Lol.
