Immersed in Creativity: My Experience Being Part of an Art Exhibition celebrating Women Artists

Sent from my iPhone The opening reception for the Dia de la Mujer (Day of the Woman) art exhibition on March 9th was a success with over 200 visitors on the first day!
I want to give a BIG Thank You  to World Design Capital-San Diego and the Front Gallery for selecting me and my painting to be part of this lovely exhibition spotlighting women artists.  I found I can say things with colors and shapes that I couldn’t say any other way with this paining and feel so grateful for being a part of this exhibition for the next two months 😊
As visitors meandered through the gallery, I found myself immersed in conversations about art, life, and everything in between. Sharing the story behind my painting allowed me to make connections with fellow art lovers, each interaction adding depth and meaning to the experience. It was incredibly rewarding to witness the emotions my art evoked in others, whether it be joy, contemplation, or nostalgia. Yet, amidst the hustle and bustle of the event, there were moments of quiet introspection. Standing before my creation, I felt a profound sense of pride and vulnerability.
In the end, I carry with me the knowledge that art has the power to transcend boundaries, spark conversations, and touch hearts in ways both profound and unforgettable.
This exhibition will be open from March 9th 2024 through May 10th 2024 at the Front gallery in South San Diego. Let me know if you attend and what you thought of it 😊
