Courage and Strength

Courage and Strength

Embarking on a journey fueled by passion, courage, and dedication, my artwork titled 'Courage and Strength' has earned a coveted spot at the World Design Capital 2024 in San Diego, California. The upcoming art exhibition, named 'Dia de la Mujer' (Day of the Women), holds a special place in my heart as I've chosen to share a piece that I've held onto since its creation in 2022.
Crafted during a period of healing from a broken foot and fractured ankle, this artwork serves as a reminder to stay strong, calm, and kind to oneself, viewing life through rose-colored glasses. An unexpected source of inspiration emerged from a purple marker given to me after cataract surgery, graffiti paint markers, and the enchanting melody of "La vie en rose."

A beautiful accident occurred during its creation—a visible white paint splatter in the stomach area, born from a burst white paint marker. What initially seemed disastrous transformed into a delightful twist of fate, infusing the piece with a unique personality. The process, marked by passion and the unexpected, encapsulates the essence of the artistic journey.
As the painting gets ready for its spotlight at the exhibition on 3/9/24, professionally framed to perfection with a white frame, navy blue mat, and magenta trim complementing the vibrant colors, excitement fills my heart. This canvas, a beautiful accident turned masterpiece, stands as a testament to the transformative power of dedication, support for a cause, and the joy of sharing. I eagerly anticipate the event, grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the World Design Capital 2024.

With compassion, gratitude, and a heart full of thanks,
